ASL Interpreter
Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
- Provide ASL Interpreting Services to support an inclusive workplace that ensures equality of opportunity for employees.
- Interpreter will be supporting NAVSEA personnel at the Washington Navy Yard.
- Support will be delivered as a mix of in-person and virtually, with potential for domestic and foreign travel.
- Position is part time, on call.
Requirements:
- Interpreting services will be consistent with practices and policies of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID).
- All sign language interpreters shall be certified by the RID.
- Minimum of 5 years experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance
