We are a visual communication disrupter providing products and services to help speak a company’s brand and vision! We are headquartered in Woodridge, IL and seeking a Accounts Receivable Clerk!
The Orbus Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports for management and recording a wide range of financial transactions, depending on the business they support. Their duties include offering administrative and bookkeeping assistance to Accountants, preparing financial statements and confirming the accuracy of accounting database information.
Daily/General Tasks:
- Post customer payments by entering and applying checks, credit card, and wire transactions
- Collection calls
- Research account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating customer information against and sales and/or customer service information
- Maintain customer accounts as well as AR files and records
- Generating invoices and account statements
- Responsible for keeping company and customer information confidential
- Responsible for following work instructions on releasing orders
- Completes daily/ weekly/ monthly tasks assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Data entry skills
- Ability to work independently as well as group settings
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Solid customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
