What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Oregon Lottery?

 

Do you have experience servicing and repairing equipment? Do you enjoy making connections while maintaining a route? We are looking for one (1) Field Service Technician to join the Field Service Team within our Gaming Operations division at the Oregon Lottery.

 

You must be able to work within the Portland Metro Valley with a Wednesday through Saturday 8 AM to 6:30 PM schedule. Hours worked on Saturday will qualify for a 10% weekend shift differential.

About the Role

You will report to the Supervisor in Field Service, and maintain, service and repair Oregon Lottery equipment within retailer establishments, while building relationships with retailers. You will complete all projects and video lottery preventative maintenance during the specified time frames for a designated area of assignment. You will also provide customer service for Oregon State Lottery retailers and players.

 

You Will:

  • Maintain, service and repair Oregon Lottery equipment.

  • Respond to field requests.

  • Work hours/shifts including nights and weekends to meet needs.

  • Check gaming equipment, identify problems, and take corrective action.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on Lottery equipment.

  • Maintain assigned vehicle and inventory of supplies.

  • Complete required paperwork.

  • Attend required trainings.

 

You Have:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree and three (3) years of experience repairing and maintaining electronic equipment and providing technical support; OR

  • Five (5) years of experience repairing and maintaining electronic equipment and providing technical support.

Licenses or Certifications

  • Valid driver's license in their state of residence

Special Qualifications

  • Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the assigned route to be eligible for consideration.
