Business Systems Analyst II

Overview

The Business Systems Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for contributing to successful project implementations and providing ongoing client support. The Business System Analyst is exposed to both client relationship management and technical responsibilities. This is a hybrid role for our Chicago or Atlanta offices.

Responsibilities

• Provides client-facing support with coaching and guidance from senior colleagues. 
• Researches, addresses, and responds to ongoing service log requests. 
• Configures the Origami platform to meet client requirements. 
• Deploys and configures Origami standard data conversions and builds custom Excel data conversions using tools in Origami Admin UI. 
• Performs unit testing of assigned deliverables. 
• Leverages Origami standard configuration where possible and follows established best practices and industry standards when designing, configuring, and consulting on solutions. 
• Records hours worked in accordance with Origami's time entry policy. 
• Identifies potential scope creep / out-of-scope work and escalates to Project Manager. 
• Assists with preparation of training materials for user training. 
• Identifies potential expanded sales opportunities and notifies / coordinates with account management team on pursuing. 
• Acts as a mentor to less experienced Origami colleagues. 
• Assists with the training and onboarding of new Origami colleagues. 
• Depending on size and complexity of project and/or account, may also be assigned to perform duties of technical consultant, project manager, solution architect, client service executive. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Business Analysis, or a related technical discipline.
• 2 years of experience doing system implementations and/or configuration, database management, or systems support.
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
• Superior communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, XML, SQL a plus.
