Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a positive work environment for our staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members
- Foster a positive work environment to enhance team morale
Production Oversight
- Monitor production processes and workflows to ensure targets are met.
- Implement production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality concerns.
Safety Compliance
- Promote and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the production area.
- Conduct safety training sessions and ensure all staff adhere to safety practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and staff performance.
- Prepare reports for management regarding production efficiency and issues.
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for production needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing/engineering preferred.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a production environment is required.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication skills – both written and verbal
- Proficiency in production management software tools.
