Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of HR, this role is responsible for implementing and maintaining key aspects of the recruiting process, including but not limited to the execution of strategic recruiting initiatives, metric adherence, and operational support. The TAP is involved in key aspects of the recruiting process, including employment branding, selection, interviewing, and candidate relationship management. This position works collaboratively with hiring managers, and candidates to execute an efficient and highly effective recruiting process that creates an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate will diligently work to meet goals; will be service oriented, highly engaged, creative, collaborative, and approachable..
Role and Responsibilities
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and should demonstrate the following competencies to consistently perform the essential functions of this position. All employees are expected to adhere to and be knowledgeable of Orion180 operations standards, established security/safety rules, and requirements for attendance. The requirements listed below are representative of the fundamental knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job successfully:
- Coordinate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, phone screening, and candidate selection
- Coordinate and participate in networking and recruiting events & ground recruitment efforts
- Assist in implementing and meeting all goals related to key staffing metrics, to include applicant conversion rate, turnover, among others, as applicable
- Develop and maintain networking relationships with community organizations, colleges and universities, alumni organizations, industry organizations, employees and colleagues to help identify and source
- Develop creative recruitment solutions if the department is experiencing difficulties in attracting staff
- Ensures that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws
- Assist in managing New-Hire paperwork processing, which include but are not limited to: processing background checks, drug screening, E-Verify and I-9
- Assist in the management of New-Hire Orientations
- Develop & maintain talent pipelines for various areas of the business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent insurance industry experience.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Outgoing, dedicated & collaborative.
- Strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with senior professionals.
- Experience in research tactics leveraging the internet and web tools as well as “ground recruitment”
- Professional maturity including punctuality, resiliency and perseverance.
- Knowledge of ADP preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
- 3 years of recruiting experience
Physical Demands
While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, and reading, being able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist or stoop to open/close cabinets, and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
Work Environment
The office environment is quiet and, in a temperature, controlled setting with random adjustments in noise or temperature due to conversations, unscheduled maintenance repairs to the building or its interior offices, or unpredictable situations due to weather or other acts beyond company control. An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule for their duties and/or job responsibilities and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on the company/department needs, project requirements, or customer demands.

Salary : $44,900 - $56,900
