What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Representative - Non Exempt position at ORLANDO FREIGHTLINER, INC?
Monday-Friday Business Hours 7:00 am- 6:00 pm with a Saturday Rotation schedule 8:00 am- 2:00 pm
Provide customer service to customers seeking to purchase heavy duty truck parts by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists walk-in and telephone customers with truck and equipment part needs while providing excellent customer service.
Maintains inventory correct, orders and stock parts.
Pulls parts from shelves to fill orders.
Maintains a safe, uncluttered, and clean work environment.
Answers telephones, cashiers, and assists sales department as needed.
Using the computer systems, research pricing and availability of parts. Makes information known to customers and enhances purchase opportunity by cross selling and positive customer relations.
Provides price quotes in a timely fashion and runs invoices.
Locates non-stock parts and collects deposit on all "special" or "emergency" orders.
Charges out and tags all returned cores; processes returns of unused or incorrectly ordered/received parts to outside vendors.
Obtains warranty information from customer on parts failure.
