Associate Attorney – Michigan
Orlans Law Group, an innovative default law firm representing servicers and secured creditors in multiple jurisdictions, is seeking an Associate Attorney to support our firm's practice in the state of Michigan. Candidates with experience in Foreclosure or Bankruptcy is preferred.
We are seeking candidates with the ability to adapt and be energized by a collaborative work environment. Candidate must be barred in Michigan, barred in additional states is a plus.
Major Roles with Accountabilities :
Subject Matter Expert / Resource : Develop and share subject matter expertise with internal and external clients to move files and achieve client goals. In this role, the attorney is accountable to :
- Timely advise clients and staff on file-specific legal matters;
- Continuously improve and stay current with the law impacting our clients and our practice;
- Assist other practice areas in the firm when necessary.
Legal Review / Proofer : Provide legal and compliance review of pleadings and documents necessary to achieve client objectives. In the role, the attorney is accountable to :
Oversight Partner : Oversee, educate, and collaborate with non-attorney staff in compliance with legal, ethical and client requirements to achieve client objectives. In this role, the attorney is accountable to :
