What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse – Pain Management at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:
- Coordinate all aspects of surgical cases between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR support staff
- Facilitate smooth patient flow and case turnover in the operating room
- Manage assigned OR cases, ensuring efficiency and proactive communication around scheduling or procedural changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold OR safety protocols
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in high-pressure situations while prioritizing patient care and comfort
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing needs quickly
- Are highly organized with strong time management skills
- Practice professionalism and discretion at all times
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Experience in critical care, telemetry, or emergency room settings is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Detail-oriented, independent, and team-focused
- Work in a state-of-the-art surgical facility
