Description
SERVICE AMBASSADOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls to the call center in a timely manner.
- Direct calls appropriately by transferring and or taking detailed messages.
- Schedule appointments according to physician profiles
- Some insurance/billing experience, however not a requirement
- Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written for clear, legible messages
- Pleasant, friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all incoming callers
- Assist with any other task assigned.
SERVICE AMBASSADOR SALARY & BENEFITS:
$18-19 Per hour

Requirements
SERVICE AMBASSADOR REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent previous experience as a service ambassador
- Excellent customer service
- Experience and knowledge of medical and insurance is recommend, but not required
- Experience in EMR systems, Allscripts experience is a plus
- Ability to handle high patient volumes.
- Ability to maintain composure when stressful situations are encountered.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Have strong communication skills
- Be able to multitask and work both individually and as a team
- Have strong computer skills; experience in EMR and/or Allscripts a plus
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence
- Have pride in ones work as well as a passion to help patients with the best care
SERVICE AMBASSADOR WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Typical business office environment
- Possibility of local travel
- Constant viewing of computer monitor, mousing and typing
- Frequent standing, walking and sitting
- Frequent stooping, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling 10 pounds or more
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Hours of business are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be able to work early, late and long hours, as needed, to meet the essential functions of the job
