About us:
Medical Office Assistant needed for an Orthopedic practice. Dr. Lawrence Li and his staff has provided the best in Orthopedic care in McLean County for over 25 years. In addition to our Orthopedic services, we have onsite Physical and Occupational therapy, X-Ray, MSK Ultrasound, and MRI. Come join our experienced team and help us continue providing excellent patient care.
Requirements:
Applicant must currently be enrolled in a Health program such as pre-nursing, pre-med, pre-vet, or Allied Health program. This is a position for a current student who wants to work part time during the school year with increased hours during the summer.
Duties will include assisting with the following:
Clinical Duties:
Ensuring completion of patient paperwork; Preparing patient files; Removing sutures and applying dressings; Patient escort; Assisting Physician and Nurse Practitioner, and Clinical staff with patient care; Assisting with scheduling tests, appointments, and surgeries.
General Office duties:
Scanning documents, organize electronic health record, preparing medical records, obtaining insurance authorizations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
