OSMS, a physician-owned orthopedic and rheumatology clinic in Green Bay is seeking a Precertification Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
Job Summary:
Precertification and benefit verification of all services performed at OSMS, by OSMS providers at outside facilities and ordered by OSMS providers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preauthorize procedures, infusions, imaging and any other items requiring authorization with insurance companies
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies and colleagues regarding authorizations and benefits
- Other duties as defined by the Business Office Manager

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- Experience in a medical office setting beneficial
- Experience working with insurance companies is beneficial
