Orting Animal Hospital is a brand-new small animal general practice hospital that opened in January last year in Orting, WA. Our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility offers six large exam rooms, a two-table surgery suite, a radiology suite, a large treatment area with six tables, employee break room, and a well-appointed doctor’s office for calls and charts.

We have all of the great tools you want – digital whole body and dental radiology, ultrasound, in house blood analyzers, and fully paperless medical records on a cloud-based system.

The Associate DVM will have clinical responsibility for the care of patients in all areas.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • 1 years of clinical experience in multi DVM practice.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Washington state (Or ability to obtain one).
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
  • Make decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately.
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
  • Strong surgical and dental skills are preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 4x10
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
