Description
The Peer Recovery Support Services staff is responsible for working with the counselors, community and clients to assist in the development of natural supports for individuals in recovery.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent), bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of sobriety, preference given to recovery from opioids or stimulants
- Must be willing/able to share your personal story of recovery to assist clients and the community, required
- Must be willing/able to obtain Peer Recovery Support Services credentials from Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services within 6 months of hire, required
- Must be HIPAA and Privacy Act Trained, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, required
- Must be able to seek out community resources and share them with clients
- Must be a team player with strong diplomacy skills and conflict management abilities
- Requires a high level of personal integrity, ethics, and problem-solving skills
- Requires an ability to speak to community members about the goals/objectives of the grant
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol testing and have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicle
- CPR certified
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
