What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Engineer I position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Engineer I uses skills and knowledge to support multiple aspects of the Biomedical Equipment Services program. This includes oversight of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program, Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) strategy & oversight and regulatory compliance. The Clinical Engineer I participates in medical equipment planning & life-cycle management, and development, implementation, support & review of healthcare technology maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5 years' experience in a Biomedical/Clinical Engineering role
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
