Overview
Starting pay for this position is $18.43 / hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.
Shift differential of an additional $2.25 / hour for 3rd shift included.
THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT NIGHTS POSITION ONLY - SHIFT WILL BE FROM 7PM-7AM
Must be available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of start week from 8am-4 : 30pm for clinical orientation.
POSITION SUMMARY : The Patient Care Technician / Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT / CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical / emotional changes.
Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed.
Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Experience
- 6 months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
- 6 months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
