What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator Cardiovascular Clinical Research position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $29.30 - $34.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Coordination of clinical research activities for OSF HealthCare Cardiovascular Institute. In doing so, assists with consenting, education, procedures, and facilitates communication between patients, families, physicians, and referring facilities. This position requires the research coordinator to have proficient knowledge of the procedures to conduct research on human subjects as well as the handling of study documentation.
*Top candidates will have previous experience conducting research and knowledge of cardiovascular medicine*
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate's Degree
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience conducting research in a clinical setting
- Working knowledge of cardiovascular medicine
