What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Clinical PACE position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $45.15 - $59.82/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Accountable to achieve performance improvement objectives, financial outcomes, and clinical outcomes of OSF PACE. The Clinical Director will be accountable for the provision and management of high quality care delivered in an efficient, participant-focused program that will lead the Ministry in the innovative care of PACE participants. Holds Mission Partners accountable to achieve OSF PACE metrics.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, BSN
- Experience: 5 years' experience working with a complex, elderly population in an outpatient or long term care setting.
- A minimum of one-year experience in working with the frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than one (1) year of experience but meets all other requirements (must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring)
- An understanding of business practice analysis and reporting mechanisms, the ability to understand and verbalize how the business portion impacts the clinical portion of the program's activities.
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
- Licenses/Certifications: Up-to-date certification in CPR.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Masters degree in nursing, business or related field.
- Experience: Prior experience with team based care in an interdisciplinary setting.
