Starting pay for this position is $18.07/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees room service operations and daily functions of cooks, tray line and ware washing staff. Ensures accuracy, quality and timeliness of all patient trays. Ensures staff performs assigned duties in accordance with established procedures and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma and or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year of kitchen work experience.
- Other Licenses/Certifications: Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification (within 1 year of hire)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 6 months vocational training in cooking techniques and methods.
- Approximately 1 year progressively more responsible experience necessary in order to become familiar with supervisory responsibilities, and to learn departmental and Medical Center procedures and operations.
