POSITION SUMMARY: The Contact Center Manager, Medication Prior Authorization oversees functions related to medication prior authorizations. This role is critical in fostering a culture aligned with OSF’s culture, Mission, Vision and Values, ensuring high-quality care, operational efficiency, and excellent patient experience. The manager collaborates with internal stakeholders across OSF to maintain compliance, promote continuous improvement, and support strategic initiatives. A key aspect of the role is leveraging data and quality systems to drive departmental performance and support the financial and operational priorities of the OnCall Contact Center. Additionally, this role is pivotal in bridging strategic planning and operational execution through change management methodologies to enhance patient experience and service delivery across digital platforms.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in a contact center, customer service, physician office, performance improvement/quality safety, or patient experience
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Moderate to advanced competency with MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail in order to effectively manage competing priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Nursing or clinical education
Experience:
- 2 years of experience leading teams, with proven results.
- Experience with EPIC scheduling or physician office
