What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Therapist position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $22.90 - $26.94/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs professional quality massage within the scope of practice and licensure, and in alignment with policies and protocols of OSF SLMC. Responsible for helping to provide a relaxing therapeutic experience and environment for our patients, clients, and Mission Partners.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion.
- Licensed in the state of Illinois to practice massage therapy.
- Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least one year of experience as massage therapist, hot stone massage, infant and prenatal massage
