Expected pay for this position is $59.90-$70.47/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a hourly position.

PRN coverage needed for OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. We need this person available to cover sick calls and vacation time.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications and analyzes drug therapy. Responsible for compounding and dispensing medications according to established policies and procedures of the professional of pharmacy. Supervises pharmacy technicians in the preparation of medication.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BS/Pharm.D degree in Pharmacy
Experience: 3 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy
Licensure/Certifications: Current Pharmacist license in the State of Illinois in good standing.
Other skills/knowledge: nterpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other medical personnel when explaining medication use and gathering and exchanging other medication information. Analytical skills necessary in order to determine drug appropriateness and evaluate drug interactions. Strong customer service skills. Ability to multi-task.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of the QS/1 retail computer system.
