What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse RN 11/12 Weekend Emergency Department position at OSF HealthCare?
EXPERIENCED RNS ONLY
Pay range for this position is $32.08 - $48.74/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
This position includes a $3.00/hr evening differential and also a 40% premium on the hourly base pay for all hours worked during the defined weekend.
POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination acrosss the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psycyhological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assinged team members, promotes best practices and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BSN
- Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment; Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applicaiton basic proficiency
