POSITION SUMMARY: As a Sitecore Developer, will play a key role in you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Sitecore solutions. In support of Digital Marketing and Digital Health initiatives, will be part of a technology team that builds and maintains web applications including custom components, workflow development, Digital Asset Management, web analytics tools and analyze/report on analytics data.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
Sitecore Development: developing, and maintaining Sitecore-based solutions, including templates, layouts, components, and workflows, using Sitecore JSS and C#.
Backend Functionality: Implementing custom backend functionality in Sitecore, such as data access layers, business logic, and integration with external systems using APIs and web services.
Database Management: Managing the underlying database structure of Sitecore, including data modeling, querying, and optimizing database performance.
Sitecore Configuration: Configuring and customizing Sitecore settings, pipelines, and modules to meet project requirements and enable desired functionalities.
Sitecore Security: Implementing security measures in Sitecore, such as user management, role-based access control (RBAC), and securing sensitive data.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, architects, and project managers, to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or other closely related field.
Experience: More than 1 year of hands-on experience with Sitecore development, including: Sitecore Development.
Hands-on experience in developing Sitecore solutions using Sitecore APIs, pipelines, and custom modules is necessary. This includes working with Sitecore's data access layer, configuring workflows, and implementing custom business logic. Sitecore Templates and Layout.
Proficient in creating and configuring Sitecore templates, layouts, and renderings. Solid understanding of how these components work together to deliver dynamic and personalized content.
Sitecore Security and Authentication: Knowledge of Sitecore's security features, including user management, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure coding practices, is important for ensuring the integrity and protection of Sitecore implementations.
At least 3 years experience with general software development, including: ASP.NET and C#: strong programming skills and be comfortable working with the .NET framework.
Databases and SQL: Familiarity with databases and SQL (Structured Query Language) is necessary for working with Sitecore's underlying database structure and performing data operations, such as querying and updating data.
System Integration: Capable of integrating external systems and services, such as CRM platforms, e-commerce systems, or marketing automation tools. Knowledge of APIs, web services, and integration patterns is valuable for seamless data exchange.
Licensure/ Certification: Sitecore certifications, such as Sitecore Certified Developer and Sitecore Certified Professional
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
