IN-PROCESS INSPECTOR

Our OSI Electronics division is a diversified manufacturer of electronic devices and value-added manufacturing services for use in a broad range of applications, including aerospace and defense electronics, security and inspection systems, and medical monitoring and diagnostics.

OSI Electronics is seeking an In-Process Inspector to join their team. This individual will perform final inspections on PCBAs in accordance with IPC-A-610 and / or J-STD-001 standards, customer drawings and manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities :

• Perform in-process inspection and final inspections for PCBAs after soldering, bonding or conformal coating, mechanical operation, or testing per production traveler or router and customer BOM and drawings.
• Perform soldering workmanship inspection per IPC-A-610 and / or J-STD-001 standards.
• Perform AOI verification, X-RAY inspection.
• Perform SMT setup verifications.
• Perform First Article Inspection or First Piece Inspection per production traveler.
• Verify production documentation sign off for completeness, accountability and traceability.
• Uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
