What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing / Collections / Claims Management - Physical Therapy Office position at OSPT of Cape Cod?
Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy is a growing physical therapy practice that is seeking a multi-tasker with outstanding customer service skills to grow within our front office / billing operations team. We are in search of someone who is organized and who will assist with the flow of our office. To succeed in this position you will need to be a team player who works well with patients and staff, and have attention to detail with scheduling and operations.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Medical Claims Coordination
- Accounts Receivable / Claims Management
- Insurance Verification and authorizations
- Greeting patients in person and through phone contact
- Patient demographic information
- Over the counter transactions - patient payments
- Electronic medical record – file management
- Electronic document management
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe; and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record software
- knowledge of insurance verification, referral management
- front desk operations / scheduling software knowledge
- 2 years medical office experience preferred
- Morning / Evening hours
