Sorter/Packer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and ambitious Package Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate handling of packages within our facility. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well independently and within a team, and has the potential to take on leadership responsibilities.

Duties

• Sort items based on product description, weight, buyer, and destination
• Identify small details or discrepancies in item labeling and packaging
• Verify accuracy of sorted items by checking weight, quantity, and shipping address
• Neatly and securely package items of various sizes (from small to large) for shipment
• Double-check orders before packaging and dispatching to ensure no errors
• Load and unload items from trucks, pallets, or carts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily sorting and shipping goals
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
