Position Summary: 

The OTG Summer Internship allows students to have an immersive, hands-on learning experience within OTG Management at our New York Office. The Intern will be assigned to the Human Resources teams supporting HRIS, Benefits, and home office HR support. The Intern will assist the department by working on (but not limited to) special projects and initiatives. The position is on-site, based at LGA Airport.



Responsibilities: 

  • Learn and uphold the organization's values, philosophy, ethics, integrity, and code of conduct 
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends
  • Assist with HR data analysis and reporting
  • Support additional HR tasks as needed. Help organize company events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Address basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Support HR in wellness, diversity, and culture-building programs. Maintain and update employee records in HR databases
  • Assist with processing HR paperwork, help coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Learn the ROB (rhythm of business)  
  • Learn key functions and update/provide input based on Dayforce, our HR (Human Resources) system 
  • Provide administrative support to the assigned department, as needed 



Qualifications: 

  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience  
  • Enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s Program in an accredited College or University, perusing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Communication  
  • Knowledge of HRIS (HR Information System) or HCM systems is a plus 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task  
  • High levels of initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to take constructive feedback  
  • Successful in both an independent and team-oriented work environment 
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, positive attitude  
  • Some local travel may be requested, such as to hiring events in the tri-state area.  

Pay rate: $20 per hour
