Position Summary:  

OTG Management is a growing airport concession company that has revolutionized the hospitality industry by pushing the boundaries of excellence. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Procurement Intern, to assist with supply management programs to assist organization in supplier verification, food recall processes, promotion of food safety, allergen awareness and oversight, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and city regulations regarding supply chain. This position is hybrid, based in our NYC, home office.

Responsibilities: 

• Request, collect, and review suppliers’ documentation to ensure compliance with FSMA, state and local regulations.
• Assist in procuring QA sustainable products for operations with supply chain.
• Analyzes raw material ingredients to determine allergens.
• Facilitate Company Recall process with Supply Chain team
• Complaints Management - Perform investigations to identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions for distributor and vendors based on complaints
• Product Review on Foodlogiq platform- Tracking of all products by lot number for all market fresh products for future quality or recalls
• Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) compliance for OTG, along with Allegro integration, where applicable
• Quality control management with operation teams and suppliers
• Ensuring continuous supplier process compliance with regards to food safety
• Run food safety supply chain database – FoodlogiQ
• Label Review
• COI platform management
• This position will report to and provides administrative support and performs other duties as assigned by Sr. Quality Assurance Director.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with staff in different functions and skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment both independently and within a team
• Must be able to perform with urgency with priority matters, with hands on approach to operational needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  
  

Pay rate: $20 per hour
