Other Half Brewing is looking to hire a Brewery Technician to support brewery and taproom operations. This position repairs and maintains equipment related to the brewing and packaging process as well as conducting facility maintenance. Mechanical and electrical experience is required with an ability to understand, install, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of brewery equipment
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Equipment experience with Centrifuge, Centrifugal Pump, Air Compressor, Canning Line, Brewing systems, Depalletizer, Date Coder, Labeler, Glycol Chillers, Forklifts (PIT’s), Augers, Mill, Central drains, Silo’s, Boilers, Valves, Pneumatics, HMI’s, Conveyance, Rigging, etc
- Mechanical and electrically inclined

Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain equipment related to the brewing and packaging process as well as conducting facility maintenance
- Respond to production questions and issues and follow up as needed with supervisors and managers
- Assist with the management of spare parts and tooling inventory
- Ensure maintenance areas are clean and orderly
- Ensure proper cleanup after completing maintenance work
- Demonstrate technical expertise in brewing, packing, and support equipment
- Observe equipment in operation to prevent/diagnose potential problems
- Identify, suggest, and discuss solutions to equipment and facility issues with management
- Execute and track all PM on all facility equipment
- Works with third parties to ensure all PM is executed on all equipment not owned/operated by OHB
- Working with Brewing, Q/A, Packaging, Taproom, and Facility teams on projects to improve functionality, efficiency, and safety

The base pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
All full time employees are eligible for medical, vision, and dental insurance first of the month following 60 days of employment. All employees that meet the requirements for the 401k benefit are eligible to participate first of the month following 6 months.
