Some Of The Details Of The Day-to-day Include
- Lead processes to ensure internal teams have necessary equipment, materials, or services.
- Recommend and execute continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline workflow and increase accuracy of projects.
- Create and foster vendor relationships to maintain purchase agreements, materials sourcing, and service arrangements.
- Serve as key point of contact for internal coworkers on material needs and project planning.
- Research, communicate, and adjust practices for changes in supply chain, product availability, and other changes that could adversely impact the company’s ability to procure materials and services.
- Manage material supply contract on critical large transmission projects.

- Knowledge of purchasing methods, terminology, techniques, and familiarity with laws will allow the best candidate to start learning early. Knowledge of energy industry would be preferred.
