Overview:
The Unit Concierge position directly supports the Assistant Director of Nursing(s) and the neighborhood nursing partners to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of older persons.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative duties for Assistant Director of Nursing(s) of assigned neighborhoods.
- Assist Nurses and STNA’s with day to day tasks on the neighborhood.
- Assist all families with needs or direct them to the correct partner.
- Complete and communicate daily neighborhood census.
- Be onsite and available during all surveys and audits.
- Schedule resident appointments and transportation.
- Maintain medical records on unit.
- Order, track, and maintain neighborhood supplies, within budget. Inventory all medical supplies at end of year report.
- Maintain medical records on the neighborhood, including routine filing, thinning and preparing discharge charts for medical records clerk, as well as verifying appropriate signatures, stocking forms and packets in nurse’s station.
- Coordinate physician visits, preparing required forms/documentation, pulling charts, and ensuring all required signatures are obtained.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Active STNA licensure.
- Experience: At least 1 year secretarial experience, excellent computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point). Preferred experience in Optimus, medical terminology and medical records
