Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis, Inc., a rapidly growing small business, is currently seeking a Vice President of DoD Programs to join the team as an integral member of a group of government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of projects.
Role Overview
As the Vice President of DoD Programs, you will lead and shape Cepeda's continued success within Army and Department of Defense (DoD) contracting. This executive role demands a strategic, relationship-driven leader with a deep understanding of the government market. You will be responsible for securing new contracts, strengthening client partnerships, and driving growth across our DoD portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Cepeda’s senior leadership to define, develop, and achieve strategic goals for DoD Programs.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing DoD team.
- Inspire and support employees in demonstrating a strong commitment to corporate initiatives and Cepeda’s organizational culture.
- Oversee multiple disciplines within the Army DEVCOM AvMC, including aviation and missile systems.
- Shape and communicate the strategic vision and execution plan for all DoD-related programs.
- Serve as the Program Manager for Cepeda’s EXPRESS contract.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders within Army DEVCOM AvMC and related defense communities.
- Anticipate and identify future government needs that align with Cepeda’s capabilities.
- Actively pursue new business by engaging prospective clients, expanding current contracts, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

- Expert knowledge of government contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
- Deep understanding of the federal procurement lifecycle and proposal development.
- Established relationships and experience within the DEVCOM AvMC S3I organization.
- Familiarity with EXPRESS Programs and related DoD initiatives.
- Strong network within the government contracting ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and respond to upcoming government staffing requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of related experience.
- Ability to obtain and hold a Secret Security Clearance.
