What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech (Full Time) – Med Surg position at Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital?
Responsible to perform a variety of uncomplicated tasks in care of patients in hospital, under direction of nursing and medical staff. Works under the general supervision of the Registered Nurses providing professional nursing care according to established procedures, protocols and regulations. Graduate from high school is preferred. 1 year experience in Med/Surg preferred. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. BLS certification required.
