Description

The office assistant fulfills the scope of this position by planning, assisting, and organizing with the front office staff within the framework of the school's philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The office assistant provides a pleasant atmosphere and support for students, families, and staff. The office assistant has decision-making responsibilities in keeping with school policies and the Diocesan Administrative Manual.  The position is hired and evaluated by the Director.

Requirements

*Responsible for answering phone inquiries

*Assisting staff with various requests

*Assisting families with various requests

*Performing various office duties

* Backup for afternoon breakers

*Ensuring office closing duties are completed and the building is closed properly each night

* Additional tasks as assigned


Strong computer skills

Customer service skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong writing and communication skills

A degree is not required.

Must be able to work M-F 10:00 AM - 6:15 PM or 11:00 AM - 6:15 PM
