What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Construction Foreman position at Outback Landscape Inc?
Outback Landscape is looking for a long term team member to fill the role of a landscape construction foreman. This position is full time and year round.
We're looking for a detail oriented person who understands landscape installation, irrigation, and hardscape installation. A typical foreman will lead one crew and be in charge of projects from start to finish.
This is a position where you will have an opportunity to move up in the company and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand plans construction drawings
- Must be able to implement the landscape plan design to specification
- Must be able to take good notes, photos, and be able to document project progress.
- Operate equipment and be able to train others on your crew
- Maintain a clean and neat jobsite at all times
- Bring projects in on time and on budget
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be a self starter
Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate well with clients
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to understand complex problems and think outside the box
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be willing to learn and grow in this position
- Must be able to manage your own time and prioritize tasks
- Must be willing to plow snow in the winter for full time employment
- Must have prior experience landscaping and irrigation work
