Activities Assistant

A successful employee in the Activities Assistant role must be ready and willing to provide exceptional customer service at all times. Having a cheerful disposition and a willingness to provide quality entertainment to our members and their guests will be necessary in this role. Engaging with our members is of prime importance and is the focal point of our company’s strategy and mission
Responsibilities:
- Present the utmost professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain an excellent standard of customer service
- Plan, organize and implement a range of appropriate activities during daytime, afternoons, or evenings
- Implementing activities that accommodate those with special needs
- Handling logistics to make the event possible
- Providing participants with instructions for the event
- Adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures
- Working with all age groups (children, teens and adults)
- Set-up, cleanup and participation in social events like crafts and sports
- Greet new arrivals and promote events and activities
- Carry out any other reasonable task assigned to you by a manager to meet the operational demands of the resort
Requirements:
- Experience with recreational activities, event planning, or related may be preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical fitness - ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands
- Adaptability and strong organization and time management skills
- Patience and compassion when dealing with others
- Flexibility to work when needed, especially evenings, weekends, or early mornings
- Willingness to adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
