What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Associate position at OUTDOOR LIVING SUPPLY LLC?
The Yard Associate is responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, along with keeping the warehouse and landscape supply yard well organized. This position requires interaction with customers as you help load products into their vehicles and assist them with any questions they might have. To be a successful Yard Associate, you must be organized, plan ahead, and be able to prioritize your daily work.
Primary Responsibilities
· Loading and unloading the truck per the delivery schedule
· Organizing warehouse and landscape supply yard
· Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and warehouse
· Organize, planning and prioritizing daily work
· Operating machinery such as propane forklift
· Assisting customers on a daily basis
· Process POS (point of sale) purchases on occasion
· Handle returns of merchandise occasionally
· Answer incoming calls from customers and assist them over the phone on occasion
Minimum Job Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Forklift and equipment operation experience is a plus
· Proficiency in English
· Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking strongly preferred
· Basic Math skills
· Familiarity with inventory procedures
· Solid communication and interpersonal skills
· Point of Sale experience is a plus
· Computer knowledge is a plus
· Must be 18 years of age
Other Skills and Abilities
Physical Demands:
· Ability to routinely lift 50 - 75 lbs. without assistance
· Standing/walking continuously
· Stooping/bending often
Work Environment:
This position primarily works outdoors in the yard and are exposed to the elements. Conditions can be dusty due to the product we sell.

Salary : $19 - $22
