We are actively seeking essential functions laborers. The desired applicant will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Be a competent construction laborer, experience in siding, roofing, pool barns a plus.
- Demands physical strength, endurance, and the ability to work well with your hands
- Must be team oriented
- Ability to clean and prepare construction sites
- Has the ability to load and unload building materials to be used in construction
- Ability to build or take apart bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Be able to dig trenches, and backfill holes
- Be able to operate power tools and hand tools
- Be able to follow specific instructions and safety rules
- Perform a variety of duties which may change often
- Possess excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
- Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least 3 years of construction laborer experience of basic construction principles and methods
- Able to read blueprints when needed
- Have reliable transportation and current driver's license
- Must be willing to travel up to 1 hour away for job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Ability to Relocate:
- Rockford, MI: Relocate before starting work (Required)
