Account Project Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Sales Team by managing each project/job on a daily basis allowing him/her to focus on ‘sales’ capacity or function.
• Sales department back up during times of absence o In-house client contact
• Following through on projects whether in design, estimating or production
• Preparing sales executive’s correspondence for price confirmations and order acknowledgments.
• Maintain Client relationships by satisfying their needs and/or requests related to each project. Examples of this are: Resolve scheduling conflicts, Ensure the timely and successful delivery of displays according to customer needs and objective, Follow through on production counts
• Help client establish and maintain credit, Report on project status; design, estimate, production
• Expedite project approvals, Special customer requests, Resolve and report on incoming/outgoing shortage discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance of Company Policies, and adhere to departmental procedures including but not limited to: Safety/ Credit/Project initiation/ Estimating/Quality/ Order Acceptance.
• Will ensure written quotes are properly prepared and disseminated to client. will confirm order acknowledgments are properly prepared and disseminated to client. Ensure adequate information is provided to the correct individuals to obtain a delivery schedule commitment.
• Data entry in internal systems and forms required for each job as it progresses. This includes: design requests, engineering requests, estimate requests, ensuring compliance with company’s credit policy for each order.
• Provide Production Department with all order details enabling them to perform their duties with efficiency, and establish the communication link between our Production department and the customer.
• Create and maintain project timelines internally and externally with the client.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• BA/BS degree or 5 years comparable business experience

• Computer Literate - Work within a Microsoft PC environment o Excellent working knowledge of Word and Excel a must. • Interpersonal Skills – Work with a diverse group of personnel client level to production level • Adaptability – Fast paced business, must be able to adapt to changing circumstances as presented.
