Serve beverages and/or food for banquet functions in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to our standards of quality and excellence. Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests attending banquet functions. Achieve standards of excellence through the company's mission, culture and values. Takes orders from guests and/or servers. Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks as well as wine and beer. Restocks liquor and non-alcoholic drinks. Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. Inputs order into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers. Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all monies. Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality. Adherence to posted work schedule and other duties and/or special projects as assigned by management.
