Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Financial District, NY

Ovadia Design Group is an award-winning interior design and architecture firm specializing in full-scale, beginning-to-end architecture and interior design. We are seeking an energetic Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of office contact, you will set the tone for the day with your positivity, professionalism, and organizational skills, ensuring smooth daily operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment for our team and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct all incoming calls to team members or as needed.
• Greet and welcome guests, coordinating client conference rooms.
• Maintain and organize the reception area and team conference rooms.
• Order and manage office supplies and receive deliveries from vendors and reps.
• Handle internal and external office inquiries with professionalism.
• Liaise with delivery services (FedEx, UPS, USPS) for incoming and outgoing packages.
• Process and distribute incoming mail to team members.
• Manage and coordinate office snacks and lunches for clients or the team as necessary.
• Assist with event planning and logistics, ensuring meetings run smoothly.
• Support internal communications, including office updates and announcements.
• Perform other administrative duties as requested.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in customer service.
• 1-2 years of service or office management experience.
• Clear and polished communication style.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Experience providing administrative support in a professional work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Proactive and resourceful problem-solving approach.
