Job Title:  Sanitation Worker

Summary:  Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen that allows for safe meal/cooking preparation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, sanitize and reassemble food processing equipment
• Dispose of food wasted in a compliant manner
• Sweep and mop all floors
• Dust and clean ventilation ducts to ensure safe working order
• Use approved chemicals to clean kitchen areas
• Communicate with kitchen staff on areas that need sanitation and document all cleaning activity
• Comply with all food safety standards and cleanliness standards
• Keep all areas of kitchen and storage areas neat and organized. 
• Wash and scrub all floors and walls.
• Other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant a plus
• Strong attention to detail. Meticulous.
• Ability to communicate (read & write) in English
