Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems and resolve any hardware or software issues that may arise. Duties: - Provide IT support and assistance to end-users, both in person and remotely - Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly - Set up and configure mobile devices for end-users - Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient operation of desktop systems - Utilize SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software deployment and updates - Log all support requests and resolutions in ServiceNow or Remedy ticketing system - Conduct software troubleshooting and provide technical support for various applications - Assist with network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP configuration Requirements: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users - Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role - Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and software applications - Familiarity with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software deployment - Experience with mobile device setup and configuration - Proficiency in using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy - Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support - Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols If you are a dedicated problem-solver with a passion for technology, we encourage you to apply for the position of Desktop Support Technician.
