Position Description:
- Manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium-sized projects
- Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews
- Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans
- Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects
- Perform field observations and functional testing
- Document and track test results on issue resolution logs
- Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports
- Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning
Required Experience:
- Eight (8) years full-time paid professional experience in commissioning
- Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements
- ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional)
- Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture, or construction management
- Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems
- Engineer-In-Training Certification or valid CA Professional Engineering License
- Industry-recognized energy management certification
