What we're looking for in a Field Nurse
To excel as a Contract Field Nurse at Owen Health Care, you will need a robust set of skills and qualifications that underscore your commitment to quality care. You must be a New Jersey registered nurse in good standing with at least three years of combined nursing experience. Your ability to conduct in-home or virtual assessments will be essential in determining patients' healthcare needs and developing effective care plans tailored to their specific requirements.
You will also play a crucial role in orienting and training assigned Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), ensuring they understand the patient care plans and their responsibilities in executing them. Regular follow-up assessments will be necessary, as you must adjust care plans in accordance with state regulations and evolving patient needs. You must ne proficient in providing skilled nursing care-such as wound care, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
Strong interpersonal skills will enable you to foster positive relationships with patients and families, alongside excellent oral and written communication abilities for accurate documentation and interaction.
