What are the responsibilities and job description for the Herbicide Applicator position at Owen Tree Service?
Owen Tree Service HD, a family owned and operated company, is seeking Herbicide Applicators with experience, or we are willing to train. Duties include spraying of Right Of Way's with a backpack sprayer. This job requires lots of walking, and is labor intensive. Traveling is required. Jobs sites are generally located throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan. We provide hotel accommodations during the week in the area work is to be performed. Pay is dependent upon experience. Trainee starting pay is $17 per hour, plus perdiem, with 2 wks training. Upon successful completion of the MDA Applicator Test, pay will increase to $18 per hour, plus perdiem. A good driving record is a plus. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical.
