OWL Services is looking for a Managed Services Specialist based out of our Montgomerey, AL location. The Managed Services Specialist is responsible for providing support to company field technicians and customers via telephone, remote services solutions, and email. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail with minimal guidance once training is complete.
A Day in the Life
- You will provide technical support and assistance to both OWL personnel and OWL customers.
- You will support the customer by monitoring and maintaining OWL-installed equipment at customer sites.
- You will ensure proper configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of customer DVR and security cameras.
- As a supporting team member, evening and weekend on-call duties are necessary.
How to Qualify for this Opportunity
- You will need three-five years of computer hardware/network troubleshooting experience.
- You should possess basic knowledge of networking and have the ability to troubleshoot Windows OS.
- You will need the ability to remotely diagnose computer hardware and software related problems, with the ability to confer this information to employees and customers.
- We prefer you have experience programming CCTV DVRs, HVRs, and NVRs; configuring and troubleshooting analog and network-based cameras – connection issues, focusing, and lens configuration.
- Your background in one or more of the following fields is a plus: video surveillance, networking, and computer repair.
