Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring optimal performance of all IT services. A strong focus on customer service is essential as you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical difficulties. This position would report directly to the company's IT Manager
Responsibilities
- Provide help desk support for hardware and software issues, including desktop support and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer hardware, operating systems, and network connectivity (LAN).
- Assist with the configuration and management of network devices
- Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Support the implementation of Group Policy Objects (GPO) to manage user access and security settings.
- Ensure all IT equipment is functioning properly through regular maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to employees by effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.
- Willingness to learn new software and internal digital security measures
Experience
- Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with LAN setups and TCP/IP networking principles.
- Experience with help desk operations and providing desktop support.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft 360
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Previous experience working with mobile devices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
IT Support Associate will by a hybrid location position, split between the Corp Office (Bedford Hts, OH) and the multi-family apartments the company manages (NE and NW Ohio) to assist all company employees
