What are the responsibilities and job description for the iOS App Developer position at OxeFit, Inc.?
Salary Range: Based on experience
As an iOS App Developer, you will have the opportunity to support OxeFit’s advanced strength training platforms by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality and visually appealing iOS applications.
Essential Functions:
- Code, test, implement, and assist in the design of inhouse software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements
- Manage projects from concept to deployment to ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and usability
- Contribute ideas and help to refine use cases and acceptance criteria
- Evaluate new libraries, frameworks, and services for suitability
- Participate in agile development such as stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with backend developers and designers to integrate APIs and data sources for seamless communication between the iOS apps and servers
- Continuously optimize application performance and responsiveness by keeping up-to-date with with the latest industry trends
- Maintain critical problem-solving skills by troubleshooting and ideating innovative solutions to technical issues and/or bugs
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in Swift, Unit test automation, Agile, GitHub, and Objective-C
- Experience creating test builds for quality assurance using TestFlight
- 5 years of experience of professional software development
- Solid understanding of Xcode and iOS SDK
- Knowledge of iOS app architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM, MVP, etc.)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Understanding of iOS design patterns/coding conventions, Apple’s Human Interface
- Guidelines and App Store Review Guidelines
